The greatest tragedy,
is accomplishment–the endpoint,
the product, the culmination of the effort
–as that, it matters not what is success,
as it matters not what is a failure;
The greatest travesty, is only in that complacency
may be authorized–as that, the greatest thrill
is always in the chase, as reward is foundable
only through experiences of the lack thereof.
The fruit is better than any jam; And if the fruit
were truly fruit, a jam would be a trophy;
But all that which I really relish:
is in the seasons.
