I’d wanted a tabletop easel for a while, so yesterday I made one myself. I haven’t painted with it yet, but it holds an iPad pretty well, is stable, secure, and I anticipate it will work very well for painting. All in all, the expense was three dollars (poster stake from a hardware store,) and about thirty minutes of my time. It’s a simple project, I’ll recommend it. With this I may paint wherever I please, as opposed to the restrictions of a full size easel. Dope.
