In remembrance of The machine.

1| We thought in opposites.
So divided I know I’m right.
Never room temperature,
two hetero dudes,
In a fight over thermostats.

2| Mechanics of tension.
Long hours we spent,
with no one to intervene.
Every word scraping nail,
I admire your freedom.
Contradiction is change.

3| Two stories collided
and it’s left one behind.
I know I didn’t always try.
I don’t believe in inherent wrong.
A hypocrite does not change
if a hypocrite never was.

4| There’s a euphemism for it.
The best that honesty can do.
I remember you as a machine.
With a wind key of principles.
Algorithmic and ruled.
