Be careful what you believe
Especially about what you deserve.
A higher power can be a lower power
And if you surrender to that power
Your goodness
You will prove to all the powers watching
That you don’t deserve to keep
What you have proven now
Can no longer be yours.
Be good. No matter what compels you
In rumor, fact, or wish.
No matter who agrees with your beliefs in
Your head,
Always understand that doing bad
Is never right.
Doing good is always best.

If you know that the villain has to fall
Let him do it himself and
if you can stop him
You should do it no matter what you believe
Is preferred by those you believe are better
Than yourself if you believe
We all deserve to know your light is as bright
And as dim and as everything that you believe
It really is.
Do it yourself and accept all your doings,
But don’t regret doing what you should have left
To the villain inside us all.
